Brian has earned international and national success for his richly coloured canvases that capture the essence of his Marlborough environment.
Brian continues the Badcock tradition of “plein air” painting. Artworks painted “on-site” enables him to marry nature and art in a very pure and organic way. Brian learned this painting method from his father Douglas Badcock who was also a prolific and well-known artist. “For me, the joy of painting comes from the delight in the creation and a connection with the creator”.
